Media Blast Cabinet

Rust Removal:

We all know rust as a reddish- or yellowish-brown flaky coating of iron oxide that is formed on iron or steel by oxidation, especially in the presence of moisture. The metal will being to erode away with the presence of rust and spreading as the metal ages. By media blasting we are removing rust and corrosion. While in turn smoothing out the product surface.

Efficient Prep:

Utilizing media blasting to clean and prep the surfaces for powder coating increase efficiency in production time as well as cleaning. The blast media can get deep into areas other cleaning tools cannot get to. The specific blast media compound used eats away oxidization, corrosion, rust, oil, water, rubber, gasket material, silicon and any other impurities that would inhibit the coating of the transfer cases.

Higher Quality Products:

At Transfer Case Solutions, we have a high quality of standard. Corrosion protection and a rust-free surfaces are what will make your product last longer, perform efficiently. We are fully committed you as a customer and the quality of our parts, setting our manufacturing process apart from the competitors.

Effective Powder Coating:

We want your part to look beautiful for years to come. We don't want a halfway decent looking part with a flaking coating. When a transfer case is prepped with an abrasive media blaster, it will be more ready for powder coating than other forms of preparation. Not only will the powder coat stick more effectively, but it will also look more even.

Damage Prevention:

After parts have been media blasted they are susceptible to rust and corrosion at a more faster rate. Because of this, powder coat is applied shortly after the media blasting process. Rust and corrosion are often the culprits for equipment failure. Failure is not an option with Transfer Case Solutions.
