This adapter is designed for the short shaft 4wd TH350 to mate to GM 6 Bolt Round Pattern Transfer Cases. This adapter kit can work with 700r4 IF and only IF the short shaft (TH350 version) is installed. DOES NOT WORK WITH OEM OUTPUT SHAFT
These transfer cases include NP208, NP241C, NP243C, NP246C, NP261C, NP263C, Atlas II GM Orientation, BlackBox and planetary gear box.
The input shaft on your GM transfer case will need to be the short version or a modified long version for clearance.
This Style TH350 would have had a New Process 203 or 205 mated to it from the factory.
Stud Kit We offer an additional Stud Kit. As you can see in the photos, this stud kit is vital for installation clearance of the transmission governor cover. The kit also allows for easy of alignment and installation. If you elect to go with cable shifters, you will notice the studs are already long enough to accommodate the cable shifter bracket. Where if you use bolts, you will need to get longer bolts. Kit contents
x6 Double sided studs 3/8" coarse x 3/8" fine thread - zinc plated
x6 Locking under head flanges with 3/8" fine thread.
These are NOT metric. Please check your threads before purchasing.
Note: You must also ensure the input shaft is correct on your transfer case. i.e. spline count and length.
